Aranmula Kannadi

This peculiar mirror is made out of copper and tin in a precise ratio of casting. As it is produced only in Aranmula, it is known as “Aranmula Kannadi” (The metal mirror of Aranmula). This mirror is a phenomenon of extraordinary skill. Aranmula Kannadi is a unique generic metal mirror as no other similar mirror is available anywhere in the world. This is the rarest handicraft of its kind. One piece of mirror takes almost 6 months for the completion. Apart from its aesthetic beauty it is unique for its cleart and distortion free image.
