Kuttiattoor Mango (Kuttiattoor Manga)

Kuttiattoor mango (Kuttiattoor manga in Malayalam) is a popular and tasty traditional mango from Kannur in North. Kerala. This mango is famous for its appealing colour (orange yellow) of flesh and rind and excellent taste and flavour. Another specialty is that the ripened fruits do not show speckles or patches on the skin. The predominant colour of skin and flesh of ripened fruits is yellow-orange. It is also known as “Nambiar manga”, “Kannapuram manga”, “Kunjimangalam manga” and “Vadakkumbhagam manga” in small pockets.
