One District One Product

One District One Product (ODOP) is a transformational effort aimed at fulfilling a district's true potential, boosting economic growth, creating jobs, and encouraging rural entrepreneurship. The goal is to turn each district in the country into an export hub by identifying products with export potential in the District, addressing bottlenecks in exporting these products, assisting local exporters/manufacturers in scaling up manufacturing, and locating potential buyers outside India, all with the goal of promoting exports, promoting manufacturing, and creating jobs in the District. To boost exports and bring export promotion to the district level, various departments are working together at state and local level to roll out the initiative in phases across the country, with the goal of mobilizing the potential of each district to become an export hub.
