Chunar Balua Patthar

Chunar Balua Patthar is a clastic sedimentary rock made up of cemented sand grains (usually quartz). It has a glassy appearance and has a gritty feel. The rock has layers and also fossils in it.
It has uniformly distributed grains of almost equal size and dimension, a high degree of compactness, high crushing strength and appreciable porosity.This keeps the stone cool even in adverse condition.
