Mysore Sandalwood Oil

The botanical name of the Mysore Sandalwood is “Santalum album” and it produces the best fragrant material and is one of the most desired perfumery materials for over a century. Mysore sandalwood oil is made of natural sandalwood through distillation. It is colorless to golden yellow, and a kind of viscid oily liquid. In perfumery, it is valued for its non-varying composition and fixative properties and also for its persistent heavy sweet, woody scent. The use of sandalwood oil is part of world civilization. Mysore Sandalwood Oil has powerful, pleasant, sweet, woody aroma and long lasting property due to higher santalol content (minimum 90%). It acts as an antiseptic, analgesic and antibiotic. It is largely used as an excellent fixative in all the heavy and oriental types of perfumes.
